Classroom Renovation Project

St Rose’s North America Inc. is currently working to renovate three classroom blocks that houses over a 1000 students. The project is estimated to cost about 50,000 USD and will be completed in 5 phases.

Phase 1

The first phase involved structural repairs and painting of a 12 classroom two story building (Main Classroom Block). Work included repair of cracks, replacement of window frames, replacement of protective wire mesh, window screens/netting on all windows. Additionally, all broken louvre blades and door locks to all classroom were replaced in this phase of the project. This phase of project has successfully been completed entirely through donation from members of St Rose’s North America Inc.
Estimated cost 10,000 USD.

Phase 2

The second phase of the project like the first, involves structural repairs and painting of a 12 classroom two story building (Second classroom Block). Work includes repair of cracks, replacement of window frames. Installation of protective wire mesh on windows and replacement of window screens/netting, broken louvre blades and door locks to all classrooms.
Estimated cost 10,000 USD

Phase 3

This third phase is the structural repairs and painting of the science classroom block. Work includes repair of cracks, replacement of window frames, replacement of protective wire mesh on windows and replacement of window screens/netting. Broken louvre blades and door locks to all classroom would be replaced. Also to be replaced are lab benches, stools and science equipment.
Estimated cost 20,000 USD

Phase 4

This phase involves redesigning classroom space to accommodate the increased number of students by providing appropriate furniture in all classrooms, inbuilt shelving and storage for books.

Phase 5

During this phase of the project, St Rose’s North America Inc. will equip 3 classrooms with digital capability by providing the following: overhead projectors, computers, overhead screens and 70 inch TVs and other multimedia/ audio equipment to allow for virtual mentoring and tutoring from alumni living abroad.
